At River of Hope Church, our mission is to empower HIS PEOPLE through HIS PRESENCE to carry hope beyond the walls of ROH for HIS PURPOSE. For us, His presence is the focus of every meeting and the ultimate prize for every believer.
THE VISION
The vision of River of Hope Church is to create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior and discover their identity in Him.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
BELIEVE IT - LIVE IT - PRODUCE IT
- We believe that the God of the Bible is our Father, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and the Word of God is our instruction manual for life.
- We believe in the work of the cross and that Jesus paid for us to walk in the abundant life, healed, whole, and set free.
- We believe that Holy Spirit dwells inside of us and that He is the empowering force that enables us to walk out the Christian life and bring the gospel (Good News) to the world.
- We believe in the Acts church and that Holy Spirit came to set the church ablaze so that the world will know it's Creator and it's purpose.
- We believe the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit are for every believer and that they are gifts to be used, we believe in baptism in water and baptism in Holy Spirit, we believe in grace and holiness, and that the church was created to be a community and a family to do life with and to serve the world.
- We believe that Jesus is our model for ministry and that we should be doing everything He did on earth and that we should be walking in the signs that accompany the life of a believer.
- We believe that God is good, period.
